External Verifier (EQA)

EQA Qualifications

With the advent of the TAQA qualifications which replaced the previous qualifications of D35 and V2, the qualification for External Verifiers (EVs) are now known as the External Quality Adviser (EQA) qualifications.
There are three qualifications available to EQAs, drawing on the three units in the TAQA suite of qualification (see below).  Please note that there are some important entry requirements for the EQA Practical units TAQA 7 and TAQA 8.

Level 4 Certificate in Leading the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice

Understanding the Principles and Practices of Externally Assuring the Quality of Assessment  Externally Assure the Quality of Assessment Plan, Allocate and Monitor Work in Own Area of Responsibility

Because of our experience and standing in the world of EQA operations, we are proud to be one of the few Centres formally Approved to offer the full suite of EQA qualifications for external verifiers.
